  • Northern Ridge are absolute best contractors we’ve worked with! We hired them to do a full exterior repaint after some exterior remodeling was to be completed by another company. That company communicated terribly, and our job was pushed out multiple times (4+ months) with little notice. Cole and this crew were incredibly understanding, and when we were finally ready for them, they were able to schedule us in quickly.

    The work itself is perfect; the crew was always on time, polite, clean, and worked diligently. Cole and the project lead communicated with us constantly, and when additional rot was found that the first contractors missed, they were able to fix it immediately for a very fair cost. Our house looks fabulous, and it’s clear the crew takes pride in their work.

    I wish we could hire Northern Ridge for everything! If you’re looking for great work and professional performance, look no further.

  • We could not be happier with the results of Northern Ridge Painting, painting of our house. Northern Ridge is clearly a client-driven company. They were professional, attentive to homeowner needs, and clearly cared about the work they were doing. Communication was excellent throughout the process, and our property was left in pristine condition when they were finished. A couple of days later, one of the workers stopped by our home to ensure we were happy with it. He walked around the house with us and reviewed every detail to ensure we were satisfied.

    Additionally, the price was very fair, the work was completed in a reasonable amount of time, and we have received many compliments about how great the house looks! We recommend this company for providing quality painting services.

  • We hired Northern Ridge to paint living room, dining room, kitchen, entryway and upper hall. Our scheme involved 3 different colors of paint. The job, from start to finish was excellent. Every individual representing the company was pleasant to deal with, knowledgeable, and eager to meet our needs. At conclusion the painting crew cleaned my floors and removed all leftover protective covers, etc. They completed the work on the schedule they first committed to, with Sean coming back to review the job and get our feedback.   • We hired Northern Ridge to paint the exterior of our house, it is a very difficult house to paint due to its height and landscaping around it. They did an excellent job start to finish .   • Northern Ridge did a large flooring project for us, removing all dried out (warped) hardwood flooring and replacing with a high end vinyl plank product from Floor and Décor in our lower level (3 large rooms). This included demo, patching our concrete slab, vapor barrier, laying new 2×4 sleepers, foam board insultation, subflooring, installing vinyl plank and new baseboards. It was a big job that we’d be saving up to complete. Lee, the carpenter, arrived every morning promptly at 730AM and did high quality work. Our home is from the 50s and certainly has many odd shapes to navigate. Brian, the owner, checked in often and arrived to help delivery materials and lay flooring. The invoice system was easy to use to pay our costs along the way. Communication, customer service and craftmanship were all top notch – would easily recommend and use again. The finished photos say it all!

  • We hired Northern Ridge to paint our great room and entry way foyer. They did an excellent job and were very considerate of our home while doing the work. As they were getting close to finishing we asked if they could stay and paint one more room on the same floor. They were very accommodating and were glad to do it. The whole project only took 2.5 days. We may use them again in a few months to paint an upstairs bedroom. We can’t say enough about the attention to detail the painters used on this project.

  • We hired Northern Ridge Painting to do carpentry and painting to give some much needed TLC to a well loved barn. The project was not easy as the barn is built into a hillside and also had a very tall cupola. From the very beginning they were incredibly responsive, showed up when they said they would, provided professional materials including a copy of their liability insurance. Their professionalism and communication continued throughout the process. Any issues they addressed immediately without pushback or haggling. They completed the project in the timeframe they promised and the end product looked great.
    I work with all different trades every day as part of my job and hands down this company conducted themselves as businesses truly should, which was so refreshing!

  • We were very pleased with Northern Ridge Painting & Remodeling and highly recommend them. We needed the outside trim of our house painted along with the shutters. Also the front door needed to be sanded, stained and re sealed. In addition we had areas of our trim removed and replaced/painted. Our home is large and goes up quite high. Brian’s team was very responsive from our first inquiry to his quick estimate. Their communication was spot on and they answered all our questions throughout the process.The whole crew was wonderful during the entire experience and cleaned up every day. The job was done in a timely manner and the work was excellent. There was a thorough walk around before the final payment to make sure everything was done properly and to our satisfaction. I would not hesitate to call on Northern Ridge in the future.

  • The crew was fantastic! They showed up early and ready to work a full day. The bosses stopped by often to check on them and us to make sure things were going smoothly.They painted all our trim before we decided to paint the whole house. The trim looked so good we had the whole house of 50 yr old cedar shingles done.
    Beautiful job! They cleaned up the whole site like they were never here. We did a slow thorough walk around to check for anything I didn’t like. There were very few tiny touch-ups.
    I will have them back in the fall for interior painting.
    I highly recommend Northern Ridge. You can’t go wrong with them.

  • Having your home painted is a big investment, and we considered several options. We chose Northern Ridge, and this was an excellent choice.
    The amount of time they spent on prepping our house was impressive, as was their attention to detail. They took no shortcuts. I want the newly painted house to look great, but I appreciate that the effort made on the prep work means it will look great for a long time.
    Their painting was great. They didn’t waste a drop of paint. Again, the pride they took in their work was obvious. We have some high exposures on the house, and their skill with ladders as impressive. The house has never looked better.
    The painting crew put in long days and the entire job was done in a week. They were neat, efficient, hard-working, and truly professional.
    Northern Ridge was the right choice.

  • Brian and Cole of Northern Ridge Painting did an exceptional job painting our 30 year old house. Their pricing was mid range of three quotes we received through Anji’s List and in line with our expectations based on previous jobs done in the past.

    Their consultation was very detailed and included itemized lists for carpentry, prep work, clean up, product selection / recommendations, insurance coverage and warranties, etc.

    The best part of job was the crew. We’ve never seen such hard work and efficiency. They arrived early and stayed late. The job was completed on time, despite weather delays, and our house looks brand new.

  • Northern Ridge painted my kitchen, great room, bathroom, laundry room and downstairs hallway. This was a big job as they also painted all of my kitchen cabinets. We were torn as to getting all new cabinets or painting existing ones. We ended up painting and they came out like new. Cole and his entire team have the expertise to do cabinets the right way! Definitely a job that needs to be done by professionals. I can’t say enough about how great it was working with this company. They show up on time, communicate well, and do high quality work. They also come back when job is done to go over any issues. you may have. I will be using them again to paint upstairs rooms and some outside touch up.

Once we met Brian and received a prompt quote for our project, we knew who to move forward with. Brian the owner personally viewed and estimated our house letting us know which clapboards needed to be replaced, where we might have rot and otherwise only paint was needed. Cole was our project manager who checked in with the team every day keeping an eye on the job’s progress. He was always available to us and easy to work with. The team was talented and very professional. Looking back, everyone was mindful of doing a quality job while keeping the costs within reason.
